This "Dapper" young fellow is a statue of a Richmond Howitzer.  On a recent trip to Richmond, he was found in Harrison Street Park, which is located at Harrison, Park Streets & Grove Avenue.

The park is also known as "Howitzer Park".  In years gone by, the City Council donated $1000.00 to erect the statue in honor of the Richmond Howitzer Battalion.  It was sculpted by William L. Sheppard, a former Howitzer.
